Between seeing and saying
ElleDi Creative is the artistic practice of Elda Robinet-Stainier, also known as ElleDi, at the intersection of photography and literature. Founded in France as a simplified joint-stock company (SAS), the studio embodies the belief that the visual and written arts are not separate disciplines, but complementary ways of telling stories and seeing the world.
The work is organized around two interconnected worlds:
- “A Gaze” encompasses the photographic practice, ranging from fine art prints to editorial commissions.
- “Words” brings together literary production, including books, essays, and documentary films.
Each project begins with the same question: what emerges when we look closely?
The answer takes different forms—sometimes a photograph, sometimes a sentence, sometimes both at once.
FotograFik
"FotoGraFik" is an artistic concept where photography, free from conventions, meets graphic design to explore the fertile complexity of the streets of the Americas, the Caribbean, and elsewhere.
This concept is not limited to a single technique or style: it is a worldview in which art becomes a universal language to reveal what often remains invisible. Here, photography transcends the frame to become an encounter—between the artist, the space, and those who pass through it.
About ElleDi
A native of the Seine-Saint-Denis department (93)—and more specifically of Saint-Ouen—Elda Robinet-Stainier, also known as ElleDi, is a photographer and author who comes from a multicultural background where sports, education, and the search for identity shape her outlook.
After a career as an international basketball player and a transition into personal coaching for professional athletes, she turned to photography and writing, transforming the need to reinvent herself into a free and daring artistic exploration.
Now based in Guadeloupe—after living in Colombia, the United States, and Europe—she makes the world her playground and human interaction the heart of her work. Her keen eye, shaped by these travels and encounters, captures the fleeting and the universal, blending street photography with intimate narratives.
