1. Definition: FotoGraFik, an Artistic Concept
FotoGraFik is an artistic concept where photography freed from convention meets graphic design to explore the fertile complexity of the streets of the Americas, the Caribbean, and Elsewhere.
This concept is not limited to a technique or a style: it is a worldview in which art becomes a universal language for revealing what often remains invisible. Here, photography exceeds the frame to become an encounter — between the artist, the space, and those who move through it.
2. My Gaze: The Human at the Heart of the Urban
My practice is built around three pillars:
Capture
I seize moments where resilience, beauty, or absurdity appear where they are least expected. My images are not documents, but Traces — fragments of life that tell a larger story.
Organize
I structure these fragments into a graphic composition where lines, colors, and contrasts enter into dialogue to reveal invisible connections. Each framing is an invitation to see beyond.
Divert
I play with the codes of street photography to reveal the invisible: a glance, a reflection, a posture. My work diverts reality into an open work, where every detail is a door onto a story.

3. My Inspirations: Relation as Foundation
My work resonates with the concepts of Édouard Glissant — Relation, Trace, Creolization — without seeking to illustrate them. These ideas naturally echo in my practice, because they reflect my own worldview:
Relation
Each image is a link between me, the subject, and the viewer. Photography becomes a visual dialogue, an invitation to enter into connection with the human being and their environment.
Trace
My photographs are living archives of the streets I have walked, the faces I have encountered, the emotions I have felt. They fix the ephemeral to make it collective memory.
Creolization
Like the cultures of the Americas and the Caribbean, my images are a métissage of realities, colors, and narratives. They overlay stories to reveal a universal complexity.
My journey through these territories has forged this approach. I have learned to see the human being in their environment as an inseparable whole, where every detail matters.

4. My Invitation: Seeing the World Differently
FotoGraFik is an invitation:
